Chief Financial Officer

Kathy Kress is a seasoned finance executive with experience spanning the financial services, retail and healthcare sectors, including fifteen years as an investment banker.  She has proven expertise in corporate development, M&A, short/long-term strategy development, corporate finance, capital markets/treasury and business restructuring. 

Most recently, Ms. Kress worked at Babylon as the VP of Investor Relations and Corporate Development, successfully preparing the company for listing on the NYSE.  Prior to Babylon, Ms. Kress was CFO of Fusion5, a Convener in the BPCI-A program, a value-based care initiative developed and managed by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation.  As divisional CFO of the Consumer, Health and Wellness business within Walmart's US segment, Kathy directed financial reporting and managed a team engaged in FP&A and Strategy/Decision Support and Accounting. While at Walmart, she also served as Vice President, Capital Markets and Vice President, Corporate M&A.  Previously, Ms. Kress held leadership roles at UBS Investment Bank and at Wasserstein Perella in New York, London and Bucharest, Romania.  She started her career at Kyocera International as a QA Engineer.  

Ms. Kress earned her MBA and BS in Industrial Operations and Engineering from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor.
